My first blog

We finally got the time to go travelling, so we quickly got hold of our time machine and get it set up. Originally we were going to get a Jeep Wrangler JK 4dr Unlimited about 2013, but stumbled across a Toyota FJ Cruiser. After a bit of research, it was clear that this was the vehicle for us!

Here is our FJ Cruiser.

You can see in this pic we also installed a James Baroud roof top tent on a Rhino Pioneer platform, as well as a high lift jack and shovel at the rear. We have an ARB Touring 2m x 2.5m awning on the driver’s side (because the rear door opens to the driver’s side). We mounted a UHF antenna on a Bandi mount off the rear door hinge and hid the UHF in the glovebox to keep it neat.
